THE REGISTRY DEPARTMENT
The Registry is headed by the Registrar who is responsible to the Provost for the day to day administration of the College and the implementation of the decisions made by the Council or Academic Board. In order to effectively discharge the above function and other administrative matters regarding appointments, admissions and graduations, the registry is divided into three (3) divisions as follows:
- Academic Unit
This division is responsible for admission of students, registrations, keeping of academic records, graduations and certification, conduct of internal and external examinations.
- Student Affairs Unit
This division is responsible for the welfare of students, their social and recreational activities. The organization of general sports, orientation of fresh students, student hostel and supervision of clubs and societies are all the responsibilities of this division.
- Establishment Unit
This division is responsible for staff appointments, promotion and upgrading, in-service training, retirement, pensions and other benefits. The activities of the division are aimed at attracting and retaining staff.
