GITJES publishes suitable articles in all areas of educational research. It also broadly welcomes articles from other professional fields,as long as contributions are found to be relevant and have capacity to educational development.

FREQUENCY OF PUBLICATION

The journal is currently published twice annually (January to June and July to December). All submissions are received between the months of January to March for the first volume of the year and then July to September, and modalities of peer-reviewing, proof reading, up to publication take place between the months of Aril and May, and October and November respectively. Each volume is released on every 1st June and 1st December respectively.

MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION POLICIES

i.Preparing Your Manuscript

Title
The title phrase should be brief.
List author’(s’) full names (first-name, middle-name, and last-name).
Affiliations of authors (department and institution).
Emails and phone numbers.

Abstract
The abstract should be less than 300 words. The keywords should be less than 10.

Abbreviations
Standard abbreviations should be used all through the manuscript. The use of non-standard abbreviations should be kept to a minimum and must be well-defined in the text following their first use.

The Introduction
The statement of the problem should be stated in the introduction in a clear and concise manner.

Methodology
The methods should be clearly presented to allow the reproduction of the experiments.

Results and discussion
Results and discussion may be combined into a single section. Results and discussion may also be presented separately if necessary.

Editorial
Tables and Figures
Tables should be kept to a minimum.
Tables should have a short descriptive title.
The unit of measurement used in a table should be stated.
Tables should be numbered consecutively.
Tables should be organized in Microsoft Word or Excel spreadsheet.
Figures/Graphics should be prepared in GIF, TIFF, JPEG or PowerPoint.
Tables and Figures should be appropriately cited in the manuscript.

References
References should be listed in alphabetical order at the end of the paper, and names of journals should be presented in full and not abbreviated.

Letter of Acceptance
Authors are issued an Acceptance Letter for manuscripts that have been reviewed and accepted for publication by our editors.

Confidentiality
A submitted manuscript is a confidential material. The Gindiri Teacher: A Journal of Educational Studieswill not disclose submitted manuscripts to anyone except individuals who partake in the processing and preparation of such manuscript(s) for publication (if accepted). These individuals include editorial staff, corresponding authors, potential reviewers, actual reviewers and editors.
